Growing up in a small town in the Philippines, where resourcefulness was essential due to the high cost and scarcity of products, profoundly shaped my understanding of design. This environment nurtured my creativity and taught me that design can significantly impact daily life. As a child, I crafted my own toys from discarded materials, fostering an inventive spirit that continues to drive me.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Industrial Design from OCADU and an Economics Degree from the Philippines. My eight years in Canadian financial services have honed my ability to integrate economic considerations into my design process, focusing on financial sustainability and scalability.

OCADU showed me how transformative design can be for communities and environments, equipping me with a diverse skill set and strong critical thinking abilities. I am passionate about using industrial design as a tool for meaningful societal change. With my unique blend of economics and design expertise, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives and the broader community.
